In addition to binders and coatings, Foseco offers a range of ancillary products used for the production of moulds and cores. These products include release and parting agents, glues and sealants, and sand additives.

Moulding Materials

Release and parting agents
A range of release agents for the separation of moulds and cores from pattern equipment. Specific products for the cold set process, heat cured process, cold box cores and green sand moulds are available. Mould box cleaners are also supplied.

Glues and sealants
Water and solvent based core and mould adhesives. Compounds for sealing joints, prints etc and minor mould and core repairs.

Sand additives
PUCB sand additives to reduce common defects associated with cold box core production such as veining and finning. Green sand additives to control expansion defects. Coal dust replacements. Breakdown additives.

Copolymer bead
A lost foam casting grade material specifically designed and engineered to reduce and eliminate lustrous carbon casting defects in ferrous lost foam castings.
