Ferrous Metal Treatment

Inoculants for all types of iron
Foseco's INOCULIN range of inoculants is available in a variety of formulations and gradings to suit the in-stream and ladle treatment processes for flake graphite, spheroidal graphite and compact graphite irons. Inoculants for SG iron pipe and INOPAK in mould inoculant are also available.

MSI (metal stream inoculation technology)
The MSI SYSTEM 900 TYPE 68E is the latest generation of automatic metal stream inoculation machines to be developed and marketed by Foseco. It ensures reproducible and accurate addition of inoculant , increasing process control and creating greater consistency in metallurgical structure.

NODULANT spheroidisers
NODULANT low-silicon tablets for the production of spheroidal graphite iron using the sandwich process.

Fluxes, slag coagulants and other treatment products
